Mutual of America Community Partnership Awards highlight partnerships that have built a cohesive community that serves as a model for collaboration for the greater good.  Awards include $25,000 to the nonprofit organizations leading exemplary partnerships.
Deadline: April 1, 2013. 

The National STEM Video Game Challenge is a multi-year competition that aims to motivate interest in STEM learning among America’s youth by tapping into students’ natural passion for playing and making video games.  Middle and high school youth are encouraged to submit their original game designs.
Deadline: April 24, 2013.

Excelencia in Education announces its Examples of Excelencia initiative to recognize programs and departments at the forefront of increasing academic opportunities and improving achievement for Latino students at the associate, baccalaureate, and graduate levels. They are accepting nominations of programs or departments providing direct services in access, outreach, and academic and professional advancement with a record of outstanding results for Latino students.
Deadline: April 24, 2013.

Target Store Grants support nonprofit organizations in the communities where the company’s stores are located. Arts, Culture, and Design in Schools grants (up to $2,000) support programs that enhance students’ classroom curriculum by bringing the arts and cultural experiences to schools, such as in-school performances, artist in residency programs, and workshops in schools.
Deadline: April 30, 2013.

The State Farm Youth Advisory Board is awarding grants of $25,000 to $100,000 for programs that access higher education/close the achievement gap, among other topics. Public K-12, charter, and higher education institutions are eligible to apply. Programs must be youth-driven and youth-led, so youth involvement and leadership is imperative.
Deadline: May 3, 2013.
